Agreed. We'll be adding it in the HTML5 proposal draft.

The <iframe> element isn't in the draft yet, but then neither is <object> 
or <img> -- I haven't gotten as far as writing the spec for that part.

Note that HTML5 is not a W3C specification, it's merely a proposal. (And 
currently an incomplete one at that.)

Agreed. We've already added it to the Web Forms 2 proposal draft (part of 
the HTML5 proposals):
