There are no "security" differences between HTML embedded via the
<iframe> and the <object> element.

The fact that a popular OS component that pretends to be a web browser
requires a particular "ActiveX" setting to be enabled before it will
render HTML embedded with the <object> element is just another
illustration of the silly behaviour of that particular software.
