I thought, you were talking about space and style.

So I'm writing a use case to show you, how I see it. Don't forget that
quote has no prefedefined display style but you could give one.

One possibility:
=====================================
<p><cite>Théophile Viau</cite>
in his poem <cite>Le matin</cite>
has written
<quote cite="urn:isbn:2862746444">
<l>L'aurore sur le front du jour</l>
<l>Sème l'azur, l'or et l'ivoire</l>
<l>Et le soleil, lassé de boire,</l>
<l>Commence son oblique tour.</l>
</quote>.</p>
=====================================

Second possibility:
=====================================
<p><cite>Théophile Viau</cite>
in his poem <cite>Le matin</cite>
has written :

<quote cite="urn:isbn:2862746444">
<p>
<l>L'aurore sur le front du jour</l>
<l>Sème l'azur, l'or et l'ivoire</l>
<l>Et le soleil, lassé de boire,</l>
<l>Commence son oblique tour.</l>
</p>
</quote>.

</p>
=====================================
