I forgot about HiJacking.

Well, then... in my travels through the list I did get a response from 
the "Admin" who is on vacation.
Msg was:

Guess it is 'bout time one of us actually sent a msg to the POWERS and

The moderator only gets involved for postings by people who are not
subscribed.  The person whose sender address is being hijacked is
subscribed.
