[WWW-HTML Mailing List Archive Home] [Messages By Thread] [Messages By Date] Embedded stylesheets in XHTML and validation
From: J. King <mtknight@dark-phantasy.com>
Date: Fri, 26 Sep 2003 18:00:57 -0400 To: www-html@w3.org Message-ID: <oprv4nfvzvk4suho@mail.dark-phantasy.com> The XHTML 1.0se specification states[1] that when using embedded stylesheets, the xml-stylesheet declaration should be used, and it should reference a style element with an ID. When I tried this, though, the validator complained that the style element has no id attribute. Is the validator wrong or is the specification in conflict with itself?
