[WWW-HTML Mailing List Archive Home] [Messages By Thread] [Messages By Date] LABEL behaviour
From: óËÏÒÅÃËÉÊ áÒÔ£Í <a.skorecki@taom.ru>
Date: Thu, 09 Oct 2003 10:07:09 +0500 Message-ID: <3F84ECFD.2070206@taom.ru> To: www-html@w3.org I've got a suggestion about modifying HTML. So, IMHO <label> element should distribute mouseOver and mouseOut events to linked object (set by LABEL's "for" atribute to object's "id" value)). Then it will be like in WinXP: when you mouseOver text labeled to (for example) checkbox, checkbox changes its color. Now LABEL distribute only Click event (http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/interact/forms.html#edef-LABEL ), but i see no reasons why HTML shouldn't handle mouseOver event.
